This symphonic work reflects on relationships in a global age: between countries, cultures and people, as well as between history and identity.
The work inhabits the tension between the personal and the political, exploring how belonging can be powerful, fragile and ambiguous, particularly when one carries within oneself multiple cultures, languages and geographical identities.
Rather than offering a single answer, the work seeks to create a space in which multiple voices, histories and perspectives may resonate simultaneously.
